Yesteryear Collection

In the late 19th century, before the advent of the automotive age, deliveries to stores and other establishments were often made by horse-drawn vehicles. The Hershey Chocolate Company, which was founded in 1894, received deliveries of the ingredients needed to make chocolate candy, then delivered its delicious products to stores and shops everywhere.

Your HERSHEY'S Horse-Drawn Wagon is on its way to the chocolate factory in central Pennsylvania. It's carrying canisters of milk from nearby dairy farms, an essential ingredient in making the fresh chocolate that would make HERSHEY'S so successful. The vehicle is also loaded with cases of cocoa beans, syrup, flower and sugar. Each container bears turn-of-the-century graphics from the HERSHEY'S Archives.

Crafted in die-cast metal, the delivery wagon's load is hand-painted sculpture. There's also a horse and driver, who is travelling with his trusty dog. Crafted to capture a wealth of fine detail, including the vintage label from HERSHEY'S "LE ROI DE CHOCOLATE TABLETS," your model is produced by - and available only from - Matchbox Collectibles.
